Established in 1872, Yellowstone National Park is America's first national park. The Park is located in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. The first white person to explore the area was fur trapper John Colter. Preserved within Yellowstone National Park are Old Faithful and a collection of the world's most extraordinary geysers and hot springs, and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

The rich wildlife includes: bison, coyotes, and grizzly bears.

Yellowstone has more thermal (hot water) activity than any other place in the world. This is caused by a hot spot deep in the earth, which sends liquid rock nearly to the surface producing heat.

Yellowstone’s most famous geyser is Old Faithful. It names comes from its reliability, because it erupts every 70 minutes.

Bear Yogi Bear is a fictional character from the animated series and movies produced by American label Hanna-Barbera. Yogi Bear lived in Yellowstone Park with his friend Boo Boo.
